Porting Out Mobile Number

It’s unbelievable they are getting away with this. We have been trying to transfer to Spectrum for a month now via phone, email, text. Went in person and told they cannot  help. Spectrum agent spent 6 hrs with Xfinity and me trying to retrieve pin without success. Yesterday I filed a complaint with the FCC.

Hello user_7a0fuw! Thank you for sharing the trouble you are having with moving the service to sprectrum. I'm terribly sorry that our teams have not been able to support you with sending the security PIN needed to transfer your phone number to another provider. I love that providers are requiring security PIN's for transfers now since a lot of fraud happens and people were easily able to move phone numbers without the customers' knowledge. Once verified it should be an easy process to request the PIN, and it's valid for 7 days. Have you been able to request the PIN through the Xfinity app? Is there an error when processing the request?
