Porting delayed

I am trying to port one of my line from Xfinity to Verizon. First Xfinity gave me hard time to get transfer pin then I got the pin from Xfinity customer center. Now transfer status confirmed by Verizon and Xfinity but Xfinity not releasing my number till 30 March. It's really inconvenient for me. I am doing business with Xfinity for 6/7 years and now that's how they're treating. I need to port as soon as possible but they are making me wait for 4 days.
