Most of the time, your phone unlocks automatically within 48 hours of being paid off.
Here are other unlock rules:
1. Your phone must be activated for at least 60 days.
2. The phone must be paid in full.
3. Your Xfinity Mobile account cannot have a past-due balance.
4. Your phone cannot be reported lost, stolen, or involved in fraudulent activity.
5. Devices are not eligible to use a SIM from another provider such as a local data plan with international travel until all required device unlock eligibility rules are met.
6. Only account holders, Primary users, or Managers on an Xfinity Mobile account can request to have phones unlocked.
The second steps is requesting that port out PIN.
I have steps for both our website and Xfinity App!

You can use the same security PIN to transfer any number on your Xfinity Mobile account.

Contact your new service provider.
Once you tell your new service provider you're transferring a number from Xfinity Mobile, you don't have to call us to cancel that line.
After your new service is active, Xfinity automatically cancels service for that line.
Any additional lines on that account will continue unless you port out those lines. This includes tablets and smart watches.
