Point Pleasant NJ Outage

All of our service has been down since yesterday morning. We were told ahead of time that we would be down yesterday for planned maintenance but be up by the evening. Service is still out. Called customer service last night was told it would be back on by midnight and then they scheduled a tech to come out today. Tech came out and said whole neighborhood is out and there's nothing he could do. I work from home and have lost two days. This is unacceptable. The only communication we have had from company was text messages saying that they were doing maintenance. Can someone please let us know what is really going on and when we expect service to be restored.
