Please flush or refresh the stale DNS cache entry on your network resolvers

My website's primary domain was recently switched, and all xfinity users, including chat agents for xfinity, cannot access my website due to stale dns cache on xfinity's network resolvers.

It is not just me, it is anyone on xfinity wifi as confirmed with several customers in multiple states. I switched the primary domain on my shopify site over a week ago. This includes several xfinity agents who also could not access my website on their end.

I have:

Restarted my modem, and did a factory reset

Flushed the dns on my laptop several times

Waited 48 hours for the dns to switch, the website's primary domain was switched on 09/24/26

Confirmed with Shopify that my dns settings are correct and that there is no issues on their end, and they also did their own deep dive and confirmed it is only xfinity

Checked my domain on several domain checkers to make sure it isn't just me

Made sure it isn't my modem with the company that supplied it as I don't have an xfinity modem (and no, it wouldn't be a parental controls issue)

Confirmed with firefox, chrome, duckduckgo, edge to make sure it wasn't a browser setting

Website works on a vpn, and cellular data, and anything not on xfinity. I've had 15 agents "look into this" and yet not one has been able to get this escalated to someone who can do this. I literally need a flush or refresh the stale DNS cache entry on xfinity's network resolvers for my website that I own.

Hi there, and thanks for reaching out here on the community forums, user_h9ekg4! I'm sorry to hear that our customers haven't been able to access your site. What error message are they receiving when trying to do so?
