Platinum account unable to get free peacock premium?

i received an email from xfinity a week ago saying i was a platinum member now. one of the included discounts is "Peacock Premium on us". i tried to add the service on the website and there's no way to do it. i went through several help topics clicking through links, and the option is never available/to be found. i opened a chat and explained the situation and they were unable to resolve and said i had to call. against my want for sanity i just called and was on the phone for 29 minutes being bombarded with cell phone offers all while saying i just want the Peacock service i'm owed. he("Jack") said he had no way to add it to my account. how are you supposed to get the discount/free Peacock?

after a little back and forth to see what the issue was, they were able to get it resolved by sending a link to an activation page(which isn't available anywhere on the site). thanks support.

Sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced while trying to get help redeeming your free Peacock subscription. Just to make sure we’re checking the right place, when you log in with your primary Xfinity ID, does the Peacock reward appear in your available rewards to redeem?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it.
