Plant Extension Timeline and Status
I am getting ready to move into a new build and have had a tech out twice. Both times they told me that I needed to have a plant extension from the pole in my neighbor's yard.
However, that's where the communication ends. I get no updates on whether a serviceability ticket was created, a timeline of what to expect, or cost. From what I've read from others on here, it sounds like I may be expected to pay something to get service.
I just want to know who I can call to get answers and see if this process is moving forward like it's supposed to.

Hi there @CapsFan84! Congratulations on your new home! That''s exciting! We are here to help with getting the plant extension completed.
1. We need to open a serviceability ticket.
2. There can be a cost to extend services to your home. The team will give us an estimated cost. If you want to move forward, we would then complete a field survey.
This link goes over the serviceability and construction process, https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/determining-serviceability.
I will need to gather the details so I can find out where things are at currently and move this forward. Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.
