Planned Maintenance

Why would Xfinity not make its customers affected aware that they would be doing planned maintenance ALL DAY. I work remotely, as do many people, and I had to take the day off work and move all of my meetings, which I will likely not be able to reschedule for another month. If I had known, I could have planned around this just like you planned to do the maintenance. As everyone always mentions with Xfinity, it is impossible to connect with an actual person, which is why I am here. What company in their right mind would do planned maintenance (for 9 hours) and not tell anyone in advance?

Hello, @user_d6350u. I'm sorry to hear how this planned maintenance work order is affecting you. Depending on your settings, the Xfinity app should've alerted you. The app is designed to notify you whenever there's a planned/unplanned service interruption in the area. I would be more than happy to review your account to see the status of the maintenance work being done.
