Plan Change

I attempted to change my plan without success. I tried both the website and chat (no change). I can't bring myself to understand why this is so difficult. To delete the old plan and register a new one seems simple enough to me. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

As you can see by all I have to do to even get started to make the change...too difficult. I'm sure once I start the chat, you will have numerous other questions for me. What does it say about Xfinity if it can't make a simple change such as this.
