Phony Xfinity emails sent to inbox about bill payment

The emails come every week, saying that my service will be cut off -if bill is not fully paid now. Xfinity never harass customers to pay their bills - understanding that bill payments sometimes can only be paid by installment payments due to other commitments to other creditors. .They  don't send their customers emails threatening to cut off service.

user_c5cf5f Do the emails list the correct amount of compared to what you can see through the Xfinity app? There have been reports of our customers getting scam emails saying what you just mentioned but the amounts don't match because they aren't from us.

@XfinityEricB  No - but in my past relations with Xfinity - they have always let me pay my bill off  in installments - after giving them the reason for the late payments. This about you must now pay  before service is cut off - even after most of the bill is already paid - is not in their character - but from a scammer pretending to be from Xfinity.

user_c5cf5f If you are doing fine with the payment arrangement you are on, they are likely not from us. I would be happy to review the account as well to confirm if you would like me to.
