Phone

I’ve wasted 4 hours talking with Xfinity customer service trying to get a tech to my 90 year old mothers house to setup her phone including another 3 hours sitting here waiting for a tech that said would be here 3 hours ago. My standard tech fee is $100 hour and at that rate Xfinity owes me $700 for wasting my time. I get the impression customer service knows nothing or they are milking their time since they are getting paid

Good afternoon user_s52h99. Thank you for reaching out through our Xfinity Community Forum. I will be more than happy to assist you with looking into this. I definitely appreciate your patience with this. I am glad to look into the appointment for you, do you have our Xfinity app as well? If you do anytime in the future if a technician is coming to the property it does allow you to view the technician ETA.  In order to review the account, I will need some additional information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
  • As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
  • An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
