Phone stuck in SIM Lock
I have an outstanding ticket with support for 8 days and counting. I had to switch our four devices to Verizon because of proximity to a retail outlet. I took me days to get three of the devices out of SIM lock and switched over but I can't get my wife's phone out of SIM lock. I've visited stores. I've called support 2 or 3 times a day. It's all fruitless. No one can do anything except for some mystical tech department that no one seems to be able to talk to. I can't get past Level 1 support no matter who I call or which office I visit. It's costing my wife work (and thus $$$). It's taking up tons of my time (and thus... $$$$s). This is completely unacceptable. I've read horror stories of this going on for weeks and weeks for many people. I've already filed an FCC complaint and it must be one of thousands against these clowns. Has anyone out there had any luck at all getting out of SIM lock in this situation??? I spent hours with Verizon and their hands seem to be tied.
