Phone blacklisted

I purchased a new phone from XFINITY the intent on trading my old phone into XFINITY. My phone was originally purchased from XFINITY and has been in my possession ever since it was not stolen. XFINITY placed my phone on the stolen list. This mess has been going on for over two months. All XFINITY does is pass the buck. I have been working diligently with the XFINITY store to resolve this issue, three tickets later they are all still unresolved. I now I have a $1000 paperweight.  XFINITY is not customer service friendly.  I can’t believe the only way to resolve anything through XFINITY is to go onto social media so ridiculous

user_9ndfri Hello! I'm sorry to read of the trouble you are having with your phone and our system reporting the phone as stolen and that our support teams have not been able to help. I wish our peers were able to help you with this already, but I'm happy that you brought it to our attention here so that we can help.

In order to help out I need you to send us a direct message with your name and service address. From there I will verify the account and obtain the specific device details to have the system corrected.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support"
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
Press Enter to send it.
