Phishing Check

Hello! I received a text that says, “Your driver picked up your Xfinity order and is on their way to you. Track your delivery: [link that begins with c.bringg]

I placed my order today and haven’t received any emails confirming shipment so I just want to make sure it isn’t a phishing threat before I click the link. Thanks!

Good evening user_kj5vio. I can certainly understand your concern. What is the phone number that the text message came from? I know you just placed your order, but have you downloaded the Xfinity App, yet? That will also allow you to see notifications. An email would normally be sent along, too with your status.

Okay, I would disregard that in this case. I would delete it, and not click on anything. I am glad you reached out. Communications by text from us come from 266278. Also, while we are on that subject if you do like getting text updates about your service or account, I would recommend texting START to the 266278 number, so you can get text updates.
