peacock

When I go to https://www.xfinity.com/yoursubscriptions, peacock shows "Activation Required."  When I go to activate, peacocktv.com and create a new account, it says "Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. "

I have NO WAY of determining what account that is. It is not associated with my name, not the names of any of my roommates. I need to unlink that account so I can set up mine.

If the peacock subscription isn't activated, how is it linked to a peacock account?

I have tried contacting peacock, I've been waiting for a chat agent for 30 minutes.

Hello @tekoa_house here are some troubleshooting steps that should help with this issue, but I think you're on the right path. When you see a message saying Peacock account is already active, go to peacocktv.com and log in. The Peacock email and password may not be the same as their Xfinity credentials.

You could’ve used a third-party (non-Comcast) email address to sign up for Peacock.
You may need to try multiple email addresses.
Any Peacock login issues should be directed to Peacock customer support.

In some instances, Peacock may already an active status. If your Peacock subscription is active but you’d like to change your email address associated with your Peacock subscription or forgot your email address, you can:

Click Help & more info and click Unlink Peacock account
After clicking “Unlink Peacock”:

You’ll have to confirm the Peacock account you want to use.
Select No, please use another account to use a different email.
Enter the email you’d like to use.
Select Continue then sign in and activate your subscription.
Note: If you already have a paid Peacock subscription, you may need to manage your existing subscription to avoid multiple active subscriptions and corresponding charges. For instructions on canceling your existing subscription, see peacocktv.com/help/article/cancellation.
