Peacock subscription

I have tried no less than 12 times to activate the “free” “benefit” of a Peacock subscription. It never works.  This is a worthless benefit

I previously had a Peacock account but haven’t for some time. So I click through from the Xfinity email then select activate peacock. I’m prompted to sign in. Then every time I sign in (EVERY time) it says it doesn’t recognize email/password so I should reset. So then I reset it or elect to sign in using a code and then it says that my email is associated with another Xfinity account. So then I click on “here’s how to find it” and am directed to an QA “how to find your peacock account” then I follow all the steps there (sign out, check spam, etc), which don’t work, at which point it says to use link to peacock Account Finder. Account Finder asks for my name and payment method and I’m not paying for it, since it’s…you know, supposed to be free, so then I cannot move forward.

It’s incredibly frustrating

@user_dbc74d I can see how that would be frustrating. It sounds like you moved or your email and/or phone number are associated to another address. If so, you must first unlink your contact information from the other address. Please use this article to do this first:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/switching-between-multiple-accounts?linkId=119072615. It can take 24-48 hours to update, so I would recommend trying activation again after at least 24 hours. You would first have to clear cache and cookies or try a new browser. Can you attempt to unlink now?
