Peacock streaming service

I heard that if you had 1Gb Internet service you could receive peacock streaming for free. Any truth to this?

Xfinity Internet customers with Gigabit speeds or higher: Receive Peacock Premium at no additional cost for two years. Eligible speed tiers include Gigabit, Gigabit Extra, Gigabit x2, or Gigabit x10.

I signed up for this. My account says I have peacock but cannot log in at all. Work with an agent for hours but it did not help

I have a Diamond membership status plus I subscribe to the gigabit service, but having a hard time activating this "free" Peacock subscription. I've tried several times with no avail, it just says.....Not Eligible which is opposite of what the offer says.  Pleas advise !??!

We are happy to take a look at your account and find out why the Xfinity Membership is showing you are not eligible. The Peacock Reward can be redeemed if you are Diamond or Platinum member. Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

 

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
