Peacock premium plus

I have peacock premium for free from Comcast. I wanted to watch the shows with no ads. I went to Comcast and added the peacock premium plus subscription. Confirmation email and all. Go to peacock account, it shows premium plus. Shows all still have ads. Log out of all devices. Log back in, still ads. Speak with peacock customer service and they troubleshoot and ask me to check things. Ends up saying I need to create a new account with them and pay through them, they say same price might as well. I have already paid for it with xfinity so I say no. I got to xfinity chat and they have me check every page and subscription and see I do have premium plus. They determine I need to sign in with my Comcast email. I do so on peacock and it is a new account that needs to pick the plan, I do, and it asks me to put in my credit card info. I do not want to do this and tell them I won’t.  They say it is the only option, mind you they never said I wouldn’t be charged, just that it was my only option. I say I won’t do that and would rather they deactivate my premium account with my personal account and reactivate with my Comcast account, seems simple and sounds reasonable to fix the problem right? I’m told they can from their end, that I have to. They tell me where to navigate and after looking around together we determine I cannot remove the free account but only change my subscription. This would do nothing to the problem, I mean unless buying premium plus sent me a link to activate it… but it didn’t. Xfinity agent says they can’t do anything and to just call 1800xfinity. I don’t want to go over all of this again and have someone not believe me and make me troubleshoot everything again.

When you're signed into the Peacock account where your Premium Plus membership is reflecting, is that the account that is tied with your primary Xfinity email? And is it all types of programming that continue to show ads?

No it is not, it is my personal email. When I tried to login with my Comcast email it treated it as a new customer needing to pick and pay for my plan. However, when I signed in with my personal it shows as peacock premium plus billed by xfinity
