Peacock activation help: Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account

I am unable to activate my free peacock subscription. I already have a free Peacock account but am not currently paying for a premium account. When I try to activate Peacock using the same email address as my free Peacock account which matches my Xfinity account address, I get this message on the Peacock site: "Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. Here’s How to Find It". I have followed those instructions with no help for activation. I'm wondering if my Peacock account was also used previously a long time ago the last time we had Xfinity. I have been unable to connect with a live agent via chat or phone. I have followed all the suggestions in the documents provided. I need help from a live agent. Thank you.

user_hzthj6 - Thank you for choosing Xfinity and for joining us here on the Xfinity Forums! You have reached the right team for help. I see you mentioned you already have a free Peacock account. If you're already enjoying Peacock at no additional cost through an existing Xfinity benefit, there is no need to activate it again. For example, if your free Peacock access is currently provided through your Xfinity Rewards membership or another qualifying offer, and you move to a plan that also includes Peacock, you would simply continue using your existing Peacock account and benefit.
In short, these offers do not stack or provide multiple Peacock subscriptions. You would continue enjoying the same Peacock account and access you already have rather than receiving an additional free subscription. We hope that helps clarify things!

My mistake, I don't have a current subsciption with Peacock, but we used to in the past. It is no longer active, but I can still log into my old account. I also found some other forum answers that talked about unlinking old Xfinity accounts. I have gone in and unlinked an old xfinity account, but I am still unable to activate the Peacock account. I read in some other forums that it might have to do with Peacock still holding onto info from a previous promotion (my old xfinity account) and through direct message they were able to solve it.

I'm having the same issue. I moved my service to my new address. xfinity sent an email to activate all my subscriptions again. Peacock shows "cannot activate account. Xfinity already linked to another account". Ive never had any other peacock account.

To follow up with my post I just ended up using a different email address and that worked. It’s a bummer because I had profiles saved on the email address I was trying to use from when I previously used Peacock but it’s not the end of the world. And now with the new email address I can activate Peacock through Xfinity. So if anyone is having the same issue, I’d recommend just creating a new account with Peacock with a different email address you haven’t used with Peacock before.
