PC keeps dropping internet but not wifi connection when downloading

My PC has been having issues with its connection to my WiFi. I am able to connect to the router with no issue, however once I begin to download something my internet connection is dropped and it states "no internet". Once I disconnect and reconnect to the Wifi, this is fixed for a few minutes and then disconnects again. I have been forced to limit my download speeds in order to minimize the chance of this occuring, but it still happens even with low download speeds.

My plan states that we can have speeds up to 500 mbps. However, anything seemingly over 100 causes my PC to be disconnected from the internet. None of the other devices in my household have this issue.

Hi user_pqf5mn, thanks for reaching out, I can see why you want to get this issue looked into. That would be pretty annoying to deal with, so let's roll up our sleeves and work together on this. I'd like to start by making sure we know the full scope. Are you able to confirm if your PC has any issues downloading over ethernet? Also, are you using a standalone/personal router along with your modem?

@XfinityMarcos I have not been able to test over the ethernet. My apartment is not set up for ethernet to run to where my desk is. I am not using a standalone router. This issue has not occurred at all for either of my roommates and their PCs, and all of them run over the wifi connection.
