Payment returned on disconnection

Hi my payment I made to avoid disconnection was sent back by my bank and now I am wondering how that works. Will Xfinity retry or just shut my service off ?

user_c4goog Thank you for reaching out for help with your payment. That is a great question. If this is an automatic payment, the system can try up to 3 times to draft a payment; however, once a payment is approved and received on our end, if your bank reverses the payment, it will not be re-drafted, and you will need to process a new payment.

Thank you for the answer and yes, I received an email that it was reversed so, my question being is how long do I have to pay it before my service is interrupted?

Does Xfinity give me time to get a new payment in ?

Thank you

If the account was due for interruption it could occur soon. We would need to review your billing to know better.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
