user_5a9y3w Thank you so much for making a post for help with your payment arrangement options to restore your services. Once a payment arrangement is approved your services can be restored within an hour. If there is an issue with your payment information or for any reason and your payment arrangement is not accepted then services will not be restored. This is common if you have used a card in the past with failed payments and may need to try a different method to set up your arrangement or if you set a scheduled payment up and not a payment arrangement. When in your Xfinity app on your payment screen if you enter the past due amount and pick a different date a message will pop up letting you know the amount and the date your payment is needed by to successfully set up an arrangement. If the amount or date does not meet those requirements a scheduled payment would be made but not restore services. Or you can review this page here to see how to use the Xfinity assistant to set up an arrangement if your account is eligible. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-up-payment-arrangement

u/user_5a9y3w Got it, and thanks for explaining. You may need to clear the past due balance in order to restore service. A payment arrangement allows for more time to pay a past due bill, while keeping service on. If it's not doing so, that means the promise to pay was broken previously, or too far past due and now delinquent. Here on the forums we can verify how much you owe, if you need us to confirm. Phone agents can work out installment plans for a delinquent balance, or recommend the automated phone system in order to set up a payment arrangment.
