Paying for 1200/mbps only getting 85/mbps download for xbox
I pay for the 1200mbps internet and have an xfi gateway with Ethernet cable straight to xbox. All of my devices are disconnected from Wi-Fi and the app says I’m actually getting 1300mbps speeds but still can get download speed past 85mbps. !! Please help!

@user_5299dd Thank you so much for your post on the low download speeds you are getting with your hardwired connection on your Xbox. I have had some download issues with my Xbox One as well in the past, so I am sure we can help find a solution. First off with the hardwired connection and your current speeds I would recommend checking out your ethernet cable to make sure it is capable of supporting your speeds. A Cat6 or if possible Cat7 cable with your speeds would be best. Next with the Xbox, there are some internal settings that may also cause slow downloads. If you do a search you can find help with the DNS settings. This is where I found my solution. There are several manual DNS settings that you can try that might improve the speed. Also, if you are using a model of modem that supports IPv6 you can attempt to enable IPv6 in your Xbox settings as well to see if that helps.
