Pause services

I'm moving, but don't have a new address yet. Can I pause my internet services at my current address until I get a new address?

Thank you.

Hey there!

There is no way of pausing services. Do you know how estimated about how long you will be without the new address?

We have seasonal for customers who have homes in different places, but there is a minimum amount of time in order to be placed on one. (for 90 to 270 days)

The least amount of time for a seasonal hold would be 90 days. Are you wanting to keep the same equipment? Are you in a agreement pricing right now?

@XfinityMartinB I do want to keep the same equipment, I'm not sure what you mean by agreement pricing. If I sign up for a 90 day hold, can I cancel it before the 90 days is up?

No. If you do that, then the entire time before the 90 day period would be backdated and applied to the account.

An agreement pricing usually has a contracted price that locks you into a certain price point for a certain amount of time.

Is there a specific reason you are wanting to pause the service instead of canceling until you are set up at the new address?

@XfinityMartinB Well, I thought putting the service on hold would be a better option than cancelling and then re-upping in 2 months, but it looks like that is my best option. Thank you for your help.
