Past outages, area work, etc

I experienced two brief connection losses today. I reported this outage via text, in response to some scheduled work notifications initiated by Xfinity earlier last week. I became lodged in your absolutely useless ai assistance loop.

I require a contact for LIVE HUMAN ASSISTANCE,  by which to receive outage support, service work updates, or in general a contact that can demonstrate the cause of any outages, past or ongoing.

I DO NOT need connection troubleshooting via ai chat agent unless I specifically request it.

Please advise

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thanks,

I believe I was prompted to wherever else I might have landed. Where was it posted previously?

Greetings, @user_v2pqpq! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having connectivity issues with your service, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

When your service cut out today, was there an active service interruption being reported in your area, or were the scheduled work notifications from last week the most recent activity that was noted? If there is ongoing work in your area, that could definitely cause brief cutouts while the work was being performed.

If there wasn't a known service interruption at the time, the Xfinity Assistant may jump straight to troubleshooting, to determine if the issue is just happening at your location, or if everyone else in your area is experiencing the same thing. How has your connection been performing since then? Is it still in and out, or has it gone back to normal?

As I said,

The outages were brief, the report was on a PRIOR service outage notification.

The service had been restored so initiating a connection troubleshoot was a waste of time.

Every time my service is disconnected, the modem activates a wifi 6 connection that does not function with my device that alleges to have wifi 6 capability. Not only does it not function, it breaks the link between it and another device. I then have to go to the other device and turn off the active wifi 6 connection. The wifi 6 settings I need access to, in order to correct the issue are locked out.

I do not enjoy wasting your live agents time any more than I enjoy my time being wasted. I only wish to know the cause and the expectation for future outages.

Your ai assistant is the absolute worst iteration I have experienced, unless its purpose is in fact to deter service in any form.
