Pairing remote

I need a service rep to come pair my remote. I’ve already went to store and already talked with a rep who tried to walk me through

Sometimes the directions can be different depending on the remote you have, to send a technician out there may be a charge, so I'd like to see if we may be able to walk you through it while you are at home with the remote. Can you tell me what remote you have?
