Overheating Pods
I had four pods in my home. I kept on smelling burning plastic in my home and couldn't locate the smell. I had a tech at my home because we constantly loose service, he removed a Pod from an outlet to see if repositioning them would help and he almost dropped it because it was so hot. The outlet behind it was melting and was covered in soot and brown spots of melted plastic.
We called customer service and were told they could only replace two of the four Pods because two are no longer under warranty. I asked what about the damage to our home and I was told sorry we can't help you with that. I stopped in my local Xfinity store and they sent out a local representative who came to my home and took pictures, he told me they'd see what they could do. The store and call center claimed that they never heard of this happening before. Radio silence since.
My families lives were put at risk with Xfinity's faulty equipment. This is a class action lawsuit brewing. Wish I could attach photos of my outlets.
