Overhead Comcast Line on Pole
Hello,
At my property at [Edited: "Personal Information"], there are two Dominion Energy poles within approximately 10’ of each other. The poles are numbered 358F213 & 358F214. There's an old Comcast cable that resides on both poles, the comcast cable is a service feed (not a main feed), it originates on a pole across Duryea Drive; it's not connected to anything on my side, just hanging loosely on the pole. There are no houses on my side of the street that can utilize the abandoned overhead Comcast service. There is also a Comcast pedestal in my yard from which I have previously been provided underground service. My entire neighborhood has underground electric, Comcast & Verizon services.
The bottom line is there's no need for two power poles in such close proximity on my property, and neither is there need for the overhead Comcast lines on both power poles. Dominion Energy just started a project where they are relocating lines underground in the adjacent neighborhood and in my discussions with them are amenable to remove one or both of the poles in my yard if Comcast will agree the lines are no longer useful and will remove them from the poles. We have several months before Dominion will be ready to remove the poles however I need someone to work with at Comcast to agree the overhead lines are obsolete and no longer useful.
Can you please contact me ([Edited: "Personal Information"]) with a POC with whom we can work?
