Overcharged $1,400 — Still No Resolution After 10+ Calls #[Edited]
I’ve been overcharged by Xfinity for the past year, totaling approximately $1,200. I’ve contacted customer service over TEN different times, and each time I was told the issue would be fixed—yet nothing has been resolved. I’ve kept records of every interaction, and I’m beyond frustrated.
This isn’t just a billing error anymore; it’s become a serious issue of customer neglect. I’m preparing to file a small claims lawsuit and have already submitted complaints to the FCC and state consumer protection agencies.
Xfinity, if you're monitoring this forum: please escalate my case immediately to someone with the authority to issue a full refund. I’m tired of the runaround.
Has anyone else successfully gotten their money back after a similar issue? Any advice on next steps or whom to contact at the executive level would be appreciated.
This kind of overcharging is not only wrong—it’s illegal. [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Were you looking at your billing statements each month so that you could catch the error early? You can dispute the case, but Comcast will only reimburse you for 4 months tops. It is your responsibility to read those statements every month so something like this doesn't happen and if it does, you can catch it early.
l. Contact us with billing questions or disputes
You may dispute charges on a bill or request billing credits. You must contact us within 120 days of the date on your bill, or you waive any disputes or credits, subject to applicable law and our binding legal obligations.
