Over 6 months to get cable from Xfinity ……who’s on first

We been trying to get cable from xfinity for almost 6 months now.  I really don’t know how this company can function and stay in business. They obviously don’t communicate amongst themselves and with their third party contractors. We personally have tried to guide them and they are still clueless. We had to get an AT&T cellular system to hold us over until these dumb asses can figure out who’s on first.
We moved into a new house that we wanted high speed internet. The sales person told us we can get fiber optics. Well when you’re dealing with a sales representative they will promise you the world and give you nothing.
A field tech shows up and tells us that the typical Rf cable won’t work due to the signal drop over 500ft and that the fiber optics would not be an issue. Well fiber optics is either not local or too pricey for them to run.

So they send out their third party contractors to do three directional bores under drive ways and creeks to run the RF cable over 500 ft. Wait ? The initial tech said the RF cable won’t work.

Two times they sent out a non English speaking guy to run the 500 ft cable that won’t work.

One tech came out and found a tap connection with great signal less than 250ft. Xfinity people just won’t listen. They would rather spend lots of money to do something wrong than do something right, WELL WE ARE STILL WAITING…..AND ARE LOSING PATIENCE.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
