Outside Office

How would I run/connect my new outside office to my current xfinity gateway? Does xfinity have technicians that can do that?

@user_izq6ly Thanks for asking this question, You can absolutely connect an outside office to your existing Xfinity gateway, but the best method depends on how far the office is from the house and whether there's already wiring in place.

If the office is on the same property, many customers Run an Ethernet cable from the gateway to the office and connect a router or access point.

As for Xfinity technicians, they typically install and troubleshoot Xfinity services and wiring related to the service connection itself. If you are wanting to move your modem/gateway to a different location they can help with this. We also have Our Xfinity Pro that gives a more powerful connection range for situations like this that may also be helpful.

Are there any professionals or companies that do this kind of work?

@user_izq6ly I just want to understand correctly, are you wanting the modem moved? Or are you wanting something different. Can you specify on what you're requesting please.
