Outside cables to condominium units.

Outside cables to each condominium units. Complex is installing new siding to one building where there are 9 Xfinity customers. They want to run cables through attic. How do I start this process? Who pays for this cable job when it should have been ran through the attic in the first place?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

The address is [Edited: "Personal Information"]. At this time, I know of six Xfinity customers. Only one confirmed AT&T customer. Some of the outside cables are super long. They run along the eaves, up the sides of the two-story buildings, and along the side of the building. Is it possible to just move those cables into the attic at the time of the siding installation, so there is no charge to anyone?

That is a great question @user_kdz2iy. This would require the tenants to hire an electrician to rewire the cables and have them come into the attics. Technicians can only install the best path to the equipment and can not route cables through walls.

Okay, at this point, we can only involve an Xfinity technician if our service is interrupted? Is that what I am hearing?

If that is the case, what is the best number for us to open multiple tickets?

Thank you. I really appreciate all the help!

@user_kdz2iy The best way to accomplish this is to have the manager of the apartment complex reach out directly for this request to have the cable for multiple runs ran through an attic space. They can reach out directly to us here on our Xfinity Forums, via our Xfinity subreddit, Facebook or X. They can also call 1-800-XFINITY.
