Outdoor junction box needed to protect cable connection point from weather

Hello,

I started new service and needed a line run from the street to the house. My concern is that the connection point for the street to the house isn’t covered up at all and with the starting to turn, how will the cold and rain affect the service.

How can I get someone to install an outdoor junction box since the tech didn’t have one. Any help is appreciated.

thanks.

Good luck.

I lost the cover to the junction box more than 20 years ago in a hurricane. I called many times and showed multiple techs to broken box. I finally got it replaced today!

Thanks, fingers crossed. I’ve already been through the wringer just trying to sign up for service. I’m hoping getting the box won’t be as difficult.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_iq0d9z. I will be happy to look into that request from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
