Outdoor Cable box broken

The cable box located outside is broken, water will get in and may damage the cable there.  Where can I get help on replace it?

Hi @user_c5e750

Thank You for joining the community here on the Xfinity Support Forums--we're excited for you to be part of the conversation. =]

When it comes to any sort of damaged equipment, or suspected damage, we would submit a repair ticket to our field team to investigate and start the repair process. Depending on what needs to be done, it can take a few days or weeks if we need to coordinate with the local county for road closures or permits. We'll be able to provide a more reliable ETR once we start the process.

Please connect with any Xfinity Representative to have the ticket opened. You can connect with us here by sending us a direct message;

To send a direct message:

Please only send a direct message when requested by an official employee--sending a chat when not requested may result in the chat being lost given the high volume of chat requests received daily.

  • Ensure you are first signed in, then you will see an icon at the top right of your page. Click that or follow this link: https://comca.st/3DeuUgs
  • From there, click the 'New Message' icon. In the 'To' field, type 'Xfinity Support'.
  • Type your message in the text area that appears at the bottom of the window and hit enter to send. An official employee, such as myself or whoever is first available, will respond.

We ask that you please include your name, the account holder name (if different), and the service address alongside your inquiry so we can best assist.
