Outages from beryl

Hello I am in pearland tx and have had internet outage since 11am yesterday with no updates or information givin. I know a lot are still without power but there is no info and we cannot work without internet.

Why did we lose our internet service early this morning. Most people in this area have power restored and have had working internet until nearly this morning. This outage does not make any sense and Xfinity is providing NO answers
