Outages and texts about outages
I've received a text or two from the online automated system with no prompt for myself saying there are outages at my home, and that someone is actively working to restore it physically. There is no one at my house and as soon as I get that text I start getting outages. I don't usually have outages, my internet is slower than advertised but that's the usual with apartment complexes. I need to know what outage is being fixed, if any, because I just keep getting texts everyday and random outages unprompted only after I get texted saying hey we're fixing your internet

Thank you for reaching out here @user_hidn0c. I will be happy to look further into any service interruptions from here. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
