Outage
I know there is an internet outage in my area but looking for eta. I work from home and this is a huge impact for me. Do not send me the outage link or refer to your useless 800 Xfinity number. I just need a PERSON to give me an eta so I can plan

Hello, @user_hpn1z0 very sorry for the inconvenience. I work from home myself and understand how important it is to have a reliable connection. Our Xfinity is indeed the best way to get service interruption ETA's. We're all connected, so it gets the same information the CSR's get. We would not be able to give you any more information than it is reporting since it's your local techs who update this information as they make repairs.
The app is great for signing up to receive an automated text message once the issue clears up. You'll also receive a text if the technicians update the expected resolution time. You can also request an adjustment for an interruption by visiting the support page. Scroll down to Outage map then credit, click Check credit eligibility, and enter details about your service interruption. If eligible, a credit is automatically added to your account.
