@Suddenlyout I'm sorry to hear you and your neighbor are without service. If you're not familiar with our Xfinity app it's free to download. You can log in with your username and password to check the status of your service. Our famous website at https://www.xfinity.com/overview is also a place you can log in to and check the status of your service. 

I am signed up with text alerts in the event there's maintenance or an unplanned service issue going on a text message is sent which I prefer as it's quicker than logging in. If you're signed up you can text OUT to 266278 (COMCST) which will confirm the status of your services as well. I can also check for you and resolve your concerns.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message.
