Outage

We have had an outage for close to 24 hours.
We depend on internet service for work, school.
Xfinity is telling us nothing regarding when the issue will be resolved, only that it will be resolved "soon", which is an insulting statement.  
According to the message attached this was a planned maintenance.  We were not notified of the "planned maintenance". I find it hard to believe that this was indeed a planned maintenance.  Most professional and reputable companies notified customers of a planned maintenance, and,  maintebances are done when there is very little impact to the end user.
We need this resolved as soon as possible and better information regarding when the issue will be resolved .
