Outage
My entire Apartment complex (1260 units) has not had internet since May 18, 2024, the outage information says it is expected to be fixed by May 19, 2024. It is now June 16th, and the outage is still not fixed and because of Xfinity's terrible customer service none of us (the residents) have been able to speak with anyone due to the outage (I'm currently having to use my mobile hotspot on my phone to post this), So I filed a BBB complaint 3 days ago and finally got a response yesterday where comcast is claiming that the holiday today (father's day) is the reason for our prolonged internet outage, an outage that started practically a month ago and that they have done nothing to fix leaving well over a thousand people without internet (Xfinity is the only internet available on our complex). We have no clue when we will get our internet back if we ever get it back because Xfinity has completely dropped the ball and left us in the dark because of their horrible customer service. Just to add a bit of info this is the second time Xfinity has done this to our apartment complex, the last time was about this time last year and our internet was out for 3 weeks before they got around to fixing it and at that time they tried to blame the slow progress of fixing the issue on everything from weather to being shorthanded and not having enough techs to send out to fix the issue.
