We've been out of internet/voice/tv/etc. for 20 hours now and the estimate for restoration time just keeps getting moved back. A technician has been "on the way" for 20 hours. There is no explanation about what the problem may be and nobody to talk to at Xfinity so I came to the forums looking for someone with a similar problem. Turns out, many people have had a similar problem and were all encouraged by Xfinity to DM them. I figured I'd save myself the useless effort of posting on the forum because all the resolutions were being handled privately because Xfinity told everyone to DM them. So I DM support. Support responds to me to tell me that it is against community guidelines for me to message them without being asked to first. Seriously?? Why have support then? This is my obligatory post on the public forum just so Xfinity can help me privately with my account. Ridiculous.
