Outage

Why doesn’t Xfinity notify its customers about planned outages in a paying customers area?? My Phone, Internet and Tv went out all at the same time and the app when I checked stated “routine maintenance”. Glad I had time to make provisions for emergencies for my elderly parents that rely on their phone in case of emergencies, NOT!! Very upset and hoping they do not need to call 911 or me because they won’t be able to, not to mention medical alarm as that won’t work also due to no interment connection. Come on Comcast, how about notifying your customers prior to a routine maintenance.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out regarding your concerns. Have you taken the time to ensure that you have text alerts set up? You can find the steps to set this up through this link https://comca.st/38UGdN2. As well any service disruption will be notified on the app or website and if planned will be shown there within days before the service occurs. We do our best to ensure that we are limiting the amount of time and disruptions to the services. when we have planned maintenance we are working to ensure that your services are stable as possible and all repairs are completed during a scheduled time frame to avoid the possibility of a larger disruption in the future. I do understand how impactful and frustrating this can be. Please know that we do everything that we can to ensure that we are not impacting your services as much as possible.
