Outage with no real ETA

My Internet services have been out since 1:10 AM and it is now 9:15 PM. Only update I can get is just that it’ll be back up as soon as possible. Can’t get a live person. Can’t get anyone to help me. I work from home. I need my Internet service up. Can someone at least give me an idea so I can tell my employer when I’ll be able to return to work
