Outage updates

I suspect that most of us posting on here about an outage that started on 6/19 to 6/20 all reside in the same area. I'm one of those people and there is absolutely no transparency about the status of this outage. Because I'm experiencing an outage, Comcast support (online chat and phone support) will not connect me to a live agent. The only update I can  see is on that outage page in my account that tells me that the ETA to fixing this problem will be done "as soon as possible".

How do I speak to someone to get more information on this? Additionally, there's a tree that fell that's stuck on the cable lines right now that's probably causing the problem for most of us but I have no way to let Comcast know since they will not connect me to a live person.
