Outage Text Messaging

I signed up for text message update associated with an Internet outage in Littleton, Colorado.  I did this so I could be kept informed on status, progress and plans to restore my service.  The outage lasted approximately 30 hours.   Related to this outage, I received one single text message that stated my service was restored 11 hours earlier.  #not_helpful

user_yb1njo I apologize for the delay in the text message. You can also use the Xfinity app to check the status of the pending work. Do you have the app as well? Not only will our techs always aim to upgrade our network as efficiently as possible, but we want to provide digital tools that make it simple and easy to manage your account. The app is great for all account management.

Hello, user_q41uw0. Thanks for posting on our community forums. I'm sorry to hear the service is not working on your end. Did you get a service interruption notice on our Xfinity App? Or through text? The best way to keep track of any service interruption notice in the area would be on our Xfinity Website, Xfinity App, or by visiting our Xfinity Service Status Page. Any ETA's will be provided there once the interruption is resolved. You can also request credit by logging in on our Service status page once the issue is resolved. If there's no service interruption listed, did you try rebooting your modem manually or through our Xfinity App? We also recommend you check the coaxial cable on both ends (modem and wall plate) to make sure it's connected properly and tight. Have you tried this as well?
