Outage since Friday night in Saline MI with no estimate

What is a reasonable estimate of restoration?  It has already been 36 hours with no estimate.

johnfc There is no way to correctly answer the question unfortunately. Our repair crew will work as quickly as possible to restore services when down, but depending on work needed it can take anywhere from less than an hour to over a week (natual disasters would be the cause of this amount of time). There are other factors as well that can delay repairs like power issues we aren't allow to fix, or work needed in a public area we may need access to. I wish I could provide you with a more specific answer, but there's not really a way for us to provide more accurate times of service restoration for service interruptions sorry.

This is reasonable at the beginning, but after the situation is examined and the variables considered, an educated estimate should be possible, just like a car repairman, electrician, or plumber would be expected to give an estimate after an initial review.
