Outage in my area

It is Saturday evening. A party at home and internet tv phone is gone. No explanation other than saying it is expected to return at 11:45 pm. You ruined my evening. 
this is not the first time it happens. Service in my area is a

monopoly but I will try other means such as satellite. 
it is imposible to talk to a human being g when calling your service line and when you eventually can, you are talking to a person in India

thank you for your standard, polite but Corporately appropriate answer that doesn’t say anything about why the service was interrupted unexpectedly. Not impressed.
