Outage in Bellevue WA with no status updates from Xfinity

I work from home and my internet has been down since Sat night. It's now Monday night. When is our service expected to return and why is there no meaningful status update?

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @ddskier thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. Working from home myself, I completely understand where you're coming from with needing service restored. I'm glad to see our awesome Xfinity Forum expert @EG moved your post to a board to bring this to my attention. Depending on if the area equipment was damaged, or if power hasn't been restored to the area equipment there may not be an ETA to provide.

We do try to keep information estimated restoration times updated if available you can check on a mobile device at either the status center:

https://www.xfinity.com/support/status or Xfinity App. I also wanted to help get the proper expectations that tools I have access to will only show me the same information that would be provided there.

Customers don't need flowery answers. Simple things will do. "Here is the outage area" (show it on a map or provide textual info about boundary; for today's outage the map was useless). "This the reason for outage" (state the reasons). Even after service has been restored, it's useful to have these info. And "Here is how long we estimate for a fix" (and if that info is unknown, say so).
