Outage by inexperienced technician
Hello I would like information on how to file a formal complaint - an email would be great since I have spoken to literally 5 different people and given a link to request a call back without any assistance or a call back. On April 2nd, a technician took out my service while installing my new neighbors service. An incompetent technician who couldn't be bothered to check to make sure everything was working before leaving, cause me to miss 1 and a 1/2 days work. Xfinity handling of the situation was atrocious. Instead of calling the technician back immediately, I was forced to wait until the afternoon of the next day for my service to be restored. As someone that works from home, I rely on my internet to support my family. If this was an Xfinity outage or weather related outage, I would have understood. But this was directly caused by an incompetent technician. I called Xfinity immediately as the technician was driving off since I was too late going out there to address it. Instead of xfinity having the technician come back immediately, multiple customer service reps lied to me about sending someone out same day in the evening. I would like to have this resolved immediately and am expecting reimbursement for my lost wages. I should not have to use earned time from my employer to recoup the missed hours because of an incompetent technician and Xfinity's inability to properly manage and rectify the problem.
