Order 4K UHD

Hi,

I bought a Samsung U8000 4K UHD.   I need to make sure my installer has the right equipment when installing it on the wall.  What do I have to order to support 4k UHD?   I need to order it now.

Thanks!

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_kuisiq Could you please send our team a direct message. Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue. To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Comcast owns several companies that produce NATIVE 4K content along with Xfinity and should be passing that content on to Xfinity customers. Namely NBC Sports 4K channel, Sky Sports Ultra (90% NATIVE 4K of English Premier League soccer and others), and Peacock (who bailed on their promise of bringing 4K EPL soccer to the USA for the 23/24 season). Bandwidth shouldn’t be a problem when you can eliminate all the SD feeds. 99% of all TVs are at least HD capable now and 95% of those sold now are 4K ready. There is the bandwidth you require. There are 4K TVs that can be bought for the price of a month of Xfinity service so any  claims that people can’t afford to upgrade is false.
What I see is corporate incompetence and bean counters pinching pennies here. Ever think about why people are cord cutting? This tops the list.
